Summer Surf Camps

Big Groms Summer Surf Camps run weekly June, July & August

Our surf camps provide a safe, fun, and high energy environment for our students to learn to surf and to improve on their surfing skills. Our week is structured day to day around ocean safety, skill development, surfing techniques, surfing etiquette, and having fun.
For our beginners we are working on specific skills like paddling, wave selection, popping up and foot placement. For our intermediate level surfers we work on more advanced skills like dropping in on the face of the wave, controlling speed, and riding the proper board for their size and skill level.
We cut no corners during our camps while teaching surfing and beach and ocean safety. All of our instructors are outstanding surfers and surf coaches. We give our students the highest quality surf coaching. Our instructor to student ratio is always 1 instructor for every 3 students. This ensures every student receives plenty of individual attention.  All of our instructors are CPR and First Aid Certified and have years of experience in the ocean.

Where to meet:  Drop off and pick up is at Moonlight Beach

What to bring: Pack a snack and water each day along with a dry towel

Cost: $425 per week Monday thru Friday Morning: 9am-12pm Afternoon: Private surf lessons

We provide soft surfboards but students must have their own wetsuits
